Eggs are among the most nutritious foods and a fantastic source of protein.
A single egg contains 14 essential nutrients including vitamins A, B, D and E,
as well as being a source of calcium, selenium and iodine. (source: worldeggday.com)

Cost-effective and versatile, the unique nutritional composition of eggs
can help meet a variety of nutrient needs of children through older adults.
Plus, eggs can play a role in weight management, muscle strength, brain function, eye health and more.

Providing eggs in children’s day-to-day menu is a simple, cheap and convenient way
to supply a high-quality protein source and improve the balanced diet of children.

With this purpose, Ceva Vietnam has launched a social campaign called ‘ONE EGG EACH DAY’
to play a part in the improvement of the balanced diet of children in Vietnam,
following a social activity initiated by Ceva Animal Health Asia – C.our.Future.

As the first step, Ceva is providing one egg each day for disadvantaged children
in two orphanages in Southern Vietnam to balance their usual diet in co-operation with C.P. Vietnam.

These two orphanages are raising 250 orphaned children, Ceva Vietnam
will donate eggs for 10 months of 2020 (~77,000 eggs)
and C.P. Vietnam will support to deliver the fresh eggs from the farm to the orphanages.

Besides providing better nutrition to disadvantaged children,
this action also contribute to increase the awareness of parents in Vietnam
regarding the benefits of eggs, and encourage them to use eggs in their child’s menu.

Following this successful implementation, Ceva Vietnam plan
to continue this project in Northern Vietnam and Cambodia soon.
